Swen Jonsson
Swen was born at the farm Southern Mon in Väse parish, Värmlands county, on July 18 1703. His parents were the farmer Jon Torstensson and his wife Karin Svensdotter. He stayed at Southern Mon until 1729, as he on June 8 married the widdow Kierstin Jonsdotter from the farm Sjöstad in Alsters parish, Värmlands county. After the wedding he moved to his wife in Sjöstad. In 1743 he took over the farm in Sjöstad as his wifes father Jon Månsson died. He lived at Sjöstad until he died, 80 years old, on May 27 1783. He was buried on June 2.
