Nils Bengtsson
Nils was born on the farm Bäck in Nedre Ulleruds parish, Värmlands county, on November 13 1720. His parents were the farmer Bengt Andersson and his wife Ingebor Nilsdotter. At the time of his marriage to the maid Brita Månsdotter, from the farm Nolsjö in the same parish, he lived on the farm Mölnbacka also in the same parish. Nils and Brita were married on October 21 1744 in the church of Nedre Ulleruds parish. This year Nils was 24 years old. After the wedding Nils moved to his wifes home in Nolsjö. Later, as his father-in-law died, he took over the farm. He lived in Nolsjö for the rest of his life. In the Fall of 1771 the dysentery was in the family and on October 30 their son Måns died only nine years old. Eleven days later also Nils died from dysentery, only 51 years old. He was buried on November 17 in the church of Nedre Ulleruds parish.
