Anders Christophersson
Anders was born on April 24 1759, on one of the farms in Kollerud in Eds parish, Värmlands county. He was the first of 12 children to the farmer Christopher Jansson and his wife Maria Olofsdotter. Anders grew up on the farm in Kollerud. By the death of his father in 1780, Anders was only 21 years old and he now had to help his mother to run the farm. At an age of 29, on December 26 1788, he married Ingeborg Jansdotter. Ingeborg had before the wedding already moved to Anders in Kollerud. In the month of May in 1804 he became a widdower as his wife died. Anders lived on the farm until he died, on January 3 1826. By that time he was 66 years old. He died from "stomach-pain" and was buried on January 8. His mother was still living on the farm that was now taken over by his daughter Maria and her husband Bengt Jansson.
