Cajsa Jonsdotter

Cajsa was born at the farm Prästgården in Alsters parish, Värmlands county, on May 8 1773. Her parents were the farmer Jonas Olofsson and his wife Greta Olofsdotter.

The same year, in 1773, the family moved to her fathers familyfarm Bjurerud in the same parish. When she was eight years old, in 1781, her grandfather hired the 26 years old farmhand Anders Nilsson.

Seven years later, in 1788, she got married to Anders. Cajsa was only 15 years old at that time. The wedding was held in Alsters church on December 28. As a wedding gift she got "16 lod of silver".

Cajsa died, only 27 years old, on December 16 1800.
