A Record of Three Generations, 1827 - 1990
On May 23 2007 I received an email from Roy A Johnson in USA who had found our home page on the internet. He wrote that he was working on a book and asked if he could use some of the photos from our home page in his book. From his email we found out that we had common ancestors and that he was a descendant to Lisa Larsson, born Gustafsdotter, who was the sister of Johan Gustafsson. Lisa and her children emigrated to America in end of the 19th century. Their emigration had until now been unknown to me. The book Roy was writing, "Lars and Lisa Larsson - A Record of Three Generations, 1827 - 1990", should include photos as well as information about ancestors and descendents. We have continued emailing each other and I have been able to give him some more information about our common ancestors. The book was finished in February 2008 and one book has been sent to me. The book is a fantastic work and gives us much information about the descendents to Lars and Lisa Larsson. Roy has given me the permission to place the book for downloading on our home page. See below!
Lars and Lisa had 11 children, of which nine emigrated to America. Lars died in 1882, and when the children Emma and Oskar emigrated to America in 1893 Lisa followed. She died in 1904 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. Lisa is in red color in the table below. A great number of descendants to Lisa and Lars are today living in USA.

The book about Lars and Lisa Larsson - Preface
Lars and Lisas daughter Emma and her husband Gustaf Johnson along with eleven Swedish families claimed for homesteads in the eastern Lammers township in Minnesota. Read more about that in "The Swede Settlement in Lammers Township, Minnesota, USA".
