Margareta Christophersdotter

She was born in 1727, most likely in Bro parish, Värmlands county.

She married the farmer Jean Olofsson in the year of 1750.

According to the Church books, which for Bro parish starts in the year of 1751, they lived at that time on one of the farms in Stirserud. At that time her husbands parents and her brother-in-law Pehr and his family also lived on the farm.

When her husband died in 1804, the farm was taken over by their son Jan. Normally the farm was taken over by the oldest son. This did not happen in their family as the oldest son Pehr were said to be "crippled".

Margareta lived at the farm in Striserud until she died on December 4 1805. She died from "old age", 78 years old, and was buried on December 15.
