Jan Andersson
He was born in March 6 1753, on the farm Stirserud in Bro parish, Värmlands county. His parents were the farmer Anders Nilsson and his wife Margareta Jeansdotter. Two years later he moved with his parents to the farm Jordstorp in the same parish. On December 26 1782 he married the maidservant Britta Jansdotter from Stirserud in the same parish. After the wedding his wife also moved to Jordstorp. After the death of his father in 1793, Jan took over the farm. Later his daughter Margareta and her husband Johan Olsson took over the farm. He lived in Jordstorp until he died on May 4 1820. He became 67 years old and died from "swelling". He was buried on May 11.
