Kierstin Larsdotter

Kierstin was born in 1732 or in 1729 on the farm Mosserud in Alsters parish, Värmlands county. An exact date has not been found in the churchbooks. Her parents were the farmer Lars Nilsson and his wife Ingri Svensdotter.

On October 13 1751 she got married to the farmhand Jan Andersson from Allströms Bruk in Alsters parish. After he wedding Jan moved to Kierstin in Mosserud. Kierstin and Jan had three children.

Around the year 1758 Keirstin became a widdow as her husband died. An exact date is not known.

On January 1 1759 she married for the second time. Now to the farmhand Staffan Månsson, from the farm Flatvik in in Fågelviks parish, Värmlands county. After the wedding Staffan moved to Kierstin in Mosserud .

In the churchbooks for the years 1800 - 1804 it is noted that she had been "sick". Kierstin lived in Mosserud until she died, 77 years old, on March 30 1806. She was buried on April 16.
