Gustaf Andersson
Gustaf was born on September 9 1702 on the farm Nolsjö in Nedre Ulleruds parish, Värmlands county. His parents were Anders Jonsson and his wife Kerstin Olofsdotter. On December 28, 1726, he married the maid Anna Olofsdotter from the farm Valtorp in Nedre Ulleruds parish. At that time Olof lived on the same farm. He gave his wife "30 lod silver" as a morning gift. Later they took over the farm after her father died in 1744. In July 1761, his wife died and he became a widower. The farm was later taken over by their son Anders and his wife Ingerid Olofsdotter. Gustaf lived on the farm Vartorp for the rest of his life and died on March 10 1788, at an age of 85 years and 6 months. He had out-lived his wife by 26 years. He was buried March 13.
